My drs appt went great today. I got the electic smoke today and it sure takes the edge off. He said he has not heard my lungs sound this good in yrs. So I just have to Pray and keep up the good work. I feel better and can move around even more now. I will keep you all updated.

Craig bought this thing to help us quit. Not to just sit around and smoke a plastic cigarette, but just leave it around and pick it up once in a while and take a hit when you feel like smoking. I'll keep ya'll updated on our progress. So far we haven't made any!!

I've not even heard of those things... how do they work?

I talked to Susan today and she sounds really good. Said she'd come visit here in a day or so. She still gets kind of tired out quickly, but she hasn't smoked since she went into the hospital the first time and says she can really tell the difference. Sounds to me like she's going to quit for good this time.

We also just bought one of those smokeless cigarette things. Haven't really had a chance to use it much yet, so I can't really say how well it works. You have to charge them with a battery that has a USB plug that you stick in the back of your computer. I charged it up twice but it doesn't last long. You have to unscrew it when you're not using it so it doesn't drain the battery. It's not keeping the charge......so I dunno, we may have just thrown 80 bucks down the drain.

Anybody else using one of these?

Guys I'm sorry. I ended up back in the hospital on wed. night and just got out again. I'm doing better but I just need to rest. I tried to call teri today but got no answer. I love ya all. Will keep you informed. This really sucks right now. But one thing is I am not smoking and haven't in three weeks. But am craving them and trying to kill Randy. Poor Randy. I ordered that electic cig today, my doctor recommended it. We'll see how that helps me from killing everyone in the house. ....

I am home and sorry it has taken so long to post. I am barely able to breath so things have progressed rather rapidly. I will do my best to keep you all informed. I'm just tired and at times afraid to go to sleep. I'm scared I won't wake up. I have to sleep at night sitting in an upright position. Thank you all for you support and Prayers

Randy brought Susan's cell phone up to her room today, I think he had to sneak it in because she's not supposed to be talking on the phone. So she called me. That hospital number we had is no good because they moved her into another room. She is on oxygen all the time now and probably will be when she goes home, unless her lungs get a lot better. So, she's not out of the woods yet. Says she'll probably go home Sunday or Monday and she'll give you guys a call if she can. If you have her home number you can call her, if you don't have it send me a message and I'll give it to you. She sounded OK but she's really weak. And she hasn't been 100% since she got home from her trip. So, I think it's going to be a long recovery this time. They did get her Mom all moved in and she seems to be doing fine.

I've got the right number now but I didn't want to bother her, although I did call a little while ago and nobody answered. Yes, this does happen to her everytime she goes on a trip and this last one was a long one and very stressful for her. They were supposed to move her mother in last week, so my guess is that it just all caught up with her. Damn, I wish this didn't happen so often....worries the hell out of me!! I'll try to get in touch with Randy today.

I have her number if you need it. I just didn't want to be the one to bother her . She gets sick everytime she comes down here.. I really thought she wasn't this time
